Bio:
I have loved drawing all my life. Being raised in East Africa, my early years were exciting and filled with adventurous safaris and wildlife naturally became my inspiration. After settling in Australia, I was able to realise a childhood dream of riding and breeding horses. My fascination with these enchanting creatures also inspires me to portray their spirit and diversity.

My art reflects a love for the wild, its places and creatures, and I choose a realistic approach, adding my own artistic expression to nature’s awesome beauty. My work in graphite is very absorbing with its intricate detail and in my oil paintings, I strive to capture the effects of light, as it creates texture and form to all it touches.

I exhibit my work nationally and internationally and have been honoured to be part of some esteemed wildlife shows, including Western Visions – 2009, Arts for the Parks 2004–06, winning the Grand Teton Lodge Award in 2005.

I will continue my endeavour to become the best artist I can be and am so
delighted that the merging of my two passions of art and nature, into a career, has been the most interesting safari of all.
